Good mix of wooded and open holes, some beautiful views over the lake, and a nice 250ish ft water carry. Also good mix of par 3s and 4s and a few holes with multiple layouts. Can get a bit confusing or sketchy if it’s busy though because some holes are intersect or start in the fairway of others.

This course is fun but it has some tight fairways and a few water shots. Be prepared to possibly lose a disc on the first four baskets. The grass on the back 9 is always in good shape but not always the case on the front 9.

Peaceful place to recharge in nature. My office is about 10 minutes from here, and I like to take walks around the lake to clear my mind and reconnect. Great place to take the kids to fly a kite or go fishing 🎣

The employees of Lake Julian Park and buncombe county all should be fired!!! They don't know how to handle the public, they are very rude and never return phone calls.! They all need how to handle the public and office skills. Plus hire someone that can stay out past 7pm!! I need to know a little more than riding around in their truck but their lights on for an hour before closing. I think they could be put to better use.

Very nice park. Restrooms. Tables benches grills Trails to walk, fishing , boat rentals, (paddle boats , canoes and rowboats. Boat ramps also for fishing.
